Blockchain development services

We design, build and operate blockchain systems from the protocol layer to production. Networks, smart contracts, wallets and the infrastructure around them, delivered by one team that stays with them after launch.

What we deliver

Four areas of work, each available on its own or as part of a complete build.

  • Infrastructure and network architecture

Networks designed around the throughput, finality and cost your product actually needs, with the nodes, indexers and monitoring that keep them running.

    • Node, validator and RPC infrastructure
    • Indexing, data pipelines and observability
    • Capacity planning against measured load
  • Protocol engineering

Core development for Layer 1 chains, rollups and appchains: consensus, execution, state and the upgrade path between versions.

    • Custom chains and appchains on proven frameworks
    • Rollups and Layer 2 networks with their own settlement rules
    • Consensus and runtime upgrades without downtime
  • Enterprise blockchain

Permissioned and hybrid networks for organisations that need shared records, clear governance and data that stays where regulation requires.

    • Permissioned ledgers for multi-party workflows
    • Tokenisation of real-world assets
    • Integration with existing ERP, identity and payment systems
  • Web3 applications

The products people use every day: exchanges, wallets and decentralised applications, with every cost and risk shown before a user signs.

    • Smart contracts in Solidity and Rust
    • Wallets, custody and multi-chain signing
    • Cross-chain bridges, swaps and messaging

We choose the stack from the requirements, not the other way round. These are the frameworks and networks we build on most often.

Security and assurance

A contract that holds value is only as trustworthy as the evidence behind it. Every build comes with its own.

  • Independent audits

Contracts are reviewed by an external auditor before mainnet, and every finding is closed or explained in writing.

  • Testing beyond the happy path

Fuzzing, invariant tests and, where it matters, formal verification of the properties the system must never break.

  • Performance targets agreed up front

Throughput, finality and cost targets are written into the specification and measured before launch, not estimated afterwards.

  • Key management and custody

Clear rules on who can sign, move funds or upgrade, enforced with multisig, hardware security modules and time locks.

  • Monitoring and incident response

Alerts on the events that matter, runbooks for the ones we expect, and a named person on call for the ones we do not.

How a build runs

Six stages, each ending in something you can read, run or sign off.

  1. Discovery

We learn the business problem, the users and the constraints, and tell you plainly whether blockchain is the right answer.

  2. Architecture and specification

Chain, framework, token model and security boundaries, written down with the options we rejected and why.

  3. Build

Contracts, services and interfaces delivered in short milestones, each one demonstrable on a test network.

  4. Verification and audit

Internal review, automated testing and an independent audit before anything holds real value.

  5. Mainnet launch

A staged rollout with monitoring in place, limits on exposure and a tested plan for rolling back.

  6. Operation and support

We run, monitor and upgrade what we built, or hand it over with the runbooks your team needs.

Why teams choose QuorX

  • Transparent delivery

Fixed milestones, working demos and written progress reports, so you always know what is done and what comes next.

  • Flexible engagement

A fixed scope, a dedicated team or a senior engineer embedded in yours. The model follows the project.

  • You own everything

The code, the infrastructure and the documentation are yours from the first commit.

  • Confidential by default

Work is covered by an NDA, and access to your systems and data is limited to the people who need it.

Industries we serve

Blockchain earns its place where several parties need to trust the same record. These are the sectors where that happens most often.

  • Banking and financial services

Payments, settlement, digital assets and tokenised securities.

  • Real estate

Fractional ownership, title records and transparent rental income.

  • Logistics and supply chain

Provenance and tracking that every partner in the chain can verify.

  • Healthcare

Consent management and audit trails for sensitive records.

  • Retail and e-commerce

Loyalty programmes, digital products and stablecoin payments.

  • Media and entertainment

Rights management, royalties and digital collectibles.

  • Government and public sector

Registries, credentials and records the public can check.

  • Education

Verifiable certificates and credentials that cannot be forged.

Frequently asked questions

How much does blockchain development cost?

It depends on scope. An audited smart contract is a very different project from a new network. After a first call we send a written estimate with milestones, so the cost of each stage is clear before it starts.

How long does a project take?

A focused smart contract project usually takes a few weeks, including the audit. A custom chain or a full platform takes several months. The specification stage gives you a realistic timeline before the build begins.

How do you choose the right blockchain?

We start from what the product needs: transaction volume, cost per transaction, finality, privacy and where your users already are. Then we recommend the network or framework that meets those needs and explain the trade-offs.

What is the difference between Layer 1 and Layer 2?

A Layer 1 is an independent blockchain with its own consensus and security, such as Ethereum or Solana. A Layer 2 processes transactions separately and settles them on a Layer 1, which lowers cost and raises throughput while inheriting much of its security.

Do you support the system after launch?

Yes. We offer monitoring, upgrades and incident response for everything we build. If you prefer to run it yourselves, we hand over the code, infrastructure and runbooks your team needs.

Can you work on an existing project?

Yes. We review, audit, extend and migrate existing codebases and networks. The first step is always a written assessment of what is already there.

Tell us what you are building.

One email, one call, and a written answer on whether we are the right team for it. If we are not, we say so. It is cheaper for both of us than finding out in month three.
